The emerging Atomic Babylon Collection is anchored in a lifetime of personal experience that only recently have I been able to approach in subject for a number of reasons. While I have never worn a uniform, I have served at the pleasure of the U.S. government since birth. I journaled as I began the journey of uncovering the truth of my atomic life and now feel the muse beckon me to move beyond disguising the blast impressions impressions, as in the oversized clouds on round canvasses comprising the HOLES IN THE SKY series, two of which are in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum.

Taking very sound advise by those much wiser than myself, we are in the process of breaking it into the three logical segments. Happier to take it in smaller bites now I've been unexpectedly given more time on this planet, allowing me time to digest this experience in some framework of reality. There were always at least two realities in the house I grew up in, quite often more. Much of it written in the process of discovery and declassification following 50 years of groomed military silence reinforced in a household cloaked in medical research and a couple dedicated to protecting military and personal secrets.
