Into the Deep: Capturing the Essence Is the Best An Artist Can Hope For.
The daughter of a Naval Chief Petty Officer, born on the Pacific Coast, the ocean and its mysterious depths have called me time and again. As a Pisces, it’s no surprise the element of water shows up in it’s various forms. While waves and the ocean are recurring themes, beneath the surface was a world unto it’s own. As fascinating studies in light, I can be easily lost in painting the nuanced color and shadows of the ocean depths.The power of water in our oceans, rivers, streams, clouds, or even the steamy vision of a woman in a shower, water has more mysterious elements we have yet to discover. | ||
