Who will assure they have maintained the artworks while in their possession.Additionally, what is the status with my intellectual and copyrighted property? Has it been protected? Title: Goddess Isis

Title: My Secret Garden 2013
Description: Original - 24 x 44 Approx – Canvas > Unstretched & Unsigned by artist Last Seen: By artist > on table in stretching area Concern for this work while being seized and in HFLP possession This original work was hand delivered from Atlanta by artist less than 24 hours before the building was seized. a. Painting was to print freshly painted and only barely dry to the touch so when I arrived, I rolled it out on the main stretching table, the separater plastic sheet removed so it could flatten out and continue to air dry overnight. before stretching and image capture scheduled for the next morning. b. Varnish has now dried un-stretched.and riskes cracking when finally stretched. b. Suffered a direct loss of business, this painting was scheduled for review during the 72 hours artist was in Dallas with painting by an international publisher. It was re-created specifically for them upon request and being reviewed for global distribution once delivered and image captured for reproduction. Stated goal was to be on the shelves for Christmas delivery following off-shore printing c. This freshly painted original art has has now laid on a table flat for 5 months and was collecting dust when Judge went through to see site. Deemed at risk for further damage, it was rolled I understand now that in late December it was rolled up and put into a tube, as an effort to stop the dust collection and protect it. HFLP will need proof they have maintained the work while in their possession. |
